Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of acanthite from this classic Mexican locale!!! This specimen consists of a highly complex group of
acanthite crystals in association with a minor amount of polybasite and fluorite!!! The acanthite crystals have
bright, silvery metallic luster with highly complex, modified faces!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope, one
can see some small polybasite crystals partially embedded within the acanthite in addition to tiny groups of
intergrown colorless fluorite crystals!!! Old material!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
