Description/Interesting Notes: An old time example of acanthite and galena from Colorado!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of galena richly intergrown with acanthite!!! Upon close study, one can see that the darkly colored material consists of silvery gray galena intimately intergrown with darker gray acanthite!!! This specimen came from the personal collection of Bob Jenkins and retains his original personal collection label as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
