Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of acanthite from this famed locality!!! This specimen hosts several complex crystals of acanthite on a matrix of calcite and quartz in association with some minor pyrite!!! The main acanthite crystal exhibits an unusually elongated, complexly modified cubic habit and appears to exhibit some possible interpenetrant twinning!!! The crystal is complete and undamaged!!! This specimen retains an old A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum label as well as its corresponding catalogue number (there is also a tiny piece of an affixed A.E. Foote label present as well)!!!
