Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of acanthite from this seldom referenced Japanese locality!!! This specimen hosts a complex showing of silvery gray acanthite crystals on a matrix of colorless fluorite!!! The acanthite is present as a highly complex network of intergrown crystals!!! Among the network of complexly modified crystals there are several pronounced cubic crystals as well as numerous other showy and curious features!!! Upon close inspection, nearly all of the acanthite present can be seen to have crystalline features!!! Truly unique material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
