Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of acanthite from Canada!!! This specimen hosts numerous large, sharp crystals of acanthite on matrix in association with magenta pink erythrite!!! The acanthite crystals are quite striking for the locality!!! The crystals are sharp with metallic luster and, in some cases, a slightly iridescent patina!!! This is a fantastic old time example of acanthite from Cobalt!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
