Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of acanthite from Canada!!! This specimen hosts a large, sharp crystal of acanthite on matrix in association with magenta pink erythrite!!! The acanthite crystal is quite striking for the locality!!! The crystal has bright, metallic luster and a sharp, complex habit that consists of two interpenetrant cubo-octahedral crystals!!! The specimen is complete and undamaged!!! This is a fantastic old time example of acanthite from Cobalt!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
