Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of acanthite and native silver from this rare Central American locality!!! This specimen consists of a higly complex crystal of acanthite that hosts a rich showing of native silver wires!!! The acanthite is actually one contiguous crystalline mass that is undamaged and complete!!! The acanthite crystal actually has marked luster with significant sections of the crystal being comprised of numerous tiny faces all oriented the same direction - resulting in flashes of satiny metallic luster at various angles!!! The native silver wires have bright metallic luster and a handsome, varied patina!!! Simply a magnificent example of acanthite and silver from this seldom referenced locality!!!
