Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of this rare earth species from Norway!!! This specimen consists of an irregular crystal section of aeschynite!!! This specimen is almost entirely comprised of solid aeschynite and is quite heavy for its size!!! The aeshynite is quite dark in color but reddish brown highlights can be seen in tiny areas!!! This specimen is from the collection of Joe Cilen and retains its original label as well as an old Burminco label!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
