Description/Interesting Notes:
An outstanding example of this unusual agate varietal from Oregon!!! This specimen consists of a particularly fine and aesthetic
example of "Snakeskin agate"!!! This specimen consists of an aesthetic, smooth, lobate form that has a characteristic
"snake skin" appearance on the surface!!! The specimen almost appears to have balls that are trying to push their way out of the specimen -
the specimen's unique form and appearance almost creates the illusion of movement or plasticity!!! Simply put, this is an incredible specimen that
absolutely needs to be seen in person!!! This specimen has glassy luster and an attractive, even translucence!!! The specimen is
complete and undamaged all around!!! Rarely do you see these rare specimens in such fine quality and condition!!!
This specimen is from
the personal collection of Tony Nikischer and Barbara & Forrest Cureton!!! This specimen retains
an old, large format, detailed label from the PERSONAL collection of Barbara & Forrest Cureton as well!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
