Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, historic example of alabandite from this famous old locality!!! This specimen hosts several significant crystals of alabandite in matrix!!! The crystals are actually quite well formed for the locality!!! Upon close inspection, the alabandite crystals show areas of sharply defined crystalline detail!!! This specimen is way better than the pics show!!! This specimen retains an old, affixed label from A.E. Foote as well!!! Simply a magnificent example of this species from this historic locale!!! Old material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
