Description/Interesting Notes:
A magnificent, old time example of rare stibarsen var. Allemontite from the type locality in France!!! This specimen consists of a very rich and
exquisitely polished slab of allemontite!!! The slab shows a very rich and aesthetic network of silvery metallic allemontite in association with highly lustrous, translucent to transparent
areas of quartz!!! There are also a few tiny cavities lined with sparkling quartz points as well!!! Allemontite, or stibarsen, is a rare naturally occuring alloy and
one can actually see that the metallic cross sections have a handsome concentrically zoned, two toned hue!!! This specimen has been expertly polished to a high luster on both sides!!! This striking
specimen is surprisingly aesthetic in person!!! This specimen retains an old label from the Heinrich Collection at the University of Michigan!!! The pics
don't even come close to doing it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
