Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of allophane from Bisbee!!! This specimen is comprised almost entirely of allophane that ranges in color from whitish-colorless to a lively turquoise blue!!! There are some complex botryoidal forms present throughout that host translucent blue balls of allophane as well!!! This specimen retains an old label from Dr. Herman Bodson and is from the Bisbee reference collection of Evan Jones!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
