Almandine Garnet on Microcline Baylis Quarry (Bayliss Quarry), Bedford, Westchester Co., New York 8.13cm x 6.78cm x 4.66cm Ex. Albert Peppis Collection No. A-219 (acquired February 22, 1953)

Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of almanine garnet on microcline from New York!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of sharp, complex almandine garnet crystals on a large partial microcline crystal!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! This specimen is from the Albert Peppis Collection and retains his original label!!!
