A unique and showy old time example of almandine garnet from this seldom referenced Finland locale!!! This specimen hosts a
striking cluster of highly complex, modified crystals of gemmy almandine garnet on matrix!!! The crystals exhibit a
most unusual, slightly rounded, modified habit and have a gorgeous, choice raspberry color!!! The color is a fine, slightly
purplish red that could rival a very fine rubellite tourmaline!!! The crystals are undamaged and complete all around!!!
The crystals show marked areas of gemminess and have wonderful, fiery play of light within!!! This is
exceptional specimen indeed - WAY better than the pics show!!! These crystals are very dramatic and showy in person!!!
