Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of alstonite from the type locality in England!!! This specimen consists of a rich cluster of sharp alstonite crystals in association with calcite and galena!!! Both sides of this specimen exhibit a significant showing of sharp alstonite crystals!!! One side hosts a very rich showingo of sharp, lustrous, whitish crystals of alstonite while the opposite side hosts a handsome combination of very light tannish-white crystals in handsome association with elongated colorless calcite crystals!!! The alstonite crystals are all very well formed and range in size up to 7mm (there are even some doubly terminated crystals present)!!! This specimen is from the collection of Paul Lazar and retains his original label as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
