Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of alataite and native gold from Kirkland Lake!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of silvery altaite in association with bright yellow native gold!!! In addition to the altaite, there appears to be another telluride in association that hosts some tiny crystals (suggested petzite but needs confirmation)!!! This specimen retains its original label from the Cilen colleciton as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
