Description/Interesting Notes: A rare locality example of amazonite from Texas!!! This specimen consists of a curiously twinned crystal of amazonite!!! The crystal has rich blue color and glassy luster!!! Most notably, this crystal appears to be a somewhat unusual rare manebach twin as well!!! This specimen is from the collection of Penn State mineralogist Dr. Deane K. Smith!!! A very rare and unusual example of amazonite from Texas!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
