Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic, old time example of a rare manebach twin amazonite crystal from Colorado!!! This specimen consists of a sharp manebach twin amazonite
crystal aesthetically capped by a cluster of lustrous, delicate blades of albite var. cleavlandite!!! The color is way better than the pics show, the faces have terrific
glassy luster, and the crystal actually has marked translucence - with tiny areas that appear gemmy even!!! The crystal is undamaged and exhibits sharp
manebach twinning!!! Manebach twins are quite rare and highly sought after!!! This specimen is very showy and lively in person!!! This specimen
retains an old label from the Larner Peak collection and an old Hamel Minerals Label (Jean Hamel) as well as an unattributed affixed
label on the underside (the Hamel label notes that it was a "gift of F. & H. Sellers")!!! The pics don't even come close to doing this gorgeous old timer
justice!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS
WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY OCTOBER 21st!!!
