Description/Interesting Notes:
An incredible example of amethyst on quartz from this famed Rhode Island locale!!! This specimen consists of a large, complete milky quartz crystal that
hosts a striking, complex doubly terminated crystal of amethyst aesthetically perched on its termination!!! These famed scepters are highly sought after and specimens
of this size and quality are very rare indeed!!! Nearly all of the specimens collected
at this limited find exhibited some damage, however this specimen is just about as good as it gets!!! This specimen
only has some minor edgewear!!! Much of what might appear to be damage in the pics is actually crystalline complexity (a natural fissure between conjoined amethyst crystals) and upon close inspection one can see
that this area is largely comprised of numerous tiny crystalline faces!!! This specimen displays magnificently all around!!! Simply a killer amethyst
scepter from this famed Rhode Island locality!!! This specimen was acquired from a noted East Coast collector and retains his label!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
