Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of amethyst from Switzerland!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of purple amethyst crystals perched on a ribbon of agate!!! Examples of amethyst from Switzerland are quite scarce!!! This specien retains several old labels, including an old Stockbridge label ( Stockbridge was a Representative from Maryland in the Fifty-first Congress beginning March 1889) as well as labels from the Toussaint and Cilen collections!!!
