Description/Interesting Notes: A gorgeous example of amethyst from New Jersey!!! This specimen consists of a highly complex crystal of gem amethyst in association with numerous tiny colorless quartz crystals and a few scattered heulandite crystals as well!!! The amethyst crystal is sharp, glassy, gem-clear, and has rich purple color throughout!!! The crystal is complete and undamaged!!! The amethyst crystal is accented by numerous tiny, highly complex colorless quartz crystals that really make for a dramatic sparkle in person!!! In addition to the tiny quartz points there are a few scattered heulandite crystals as well (and a minor amount of laumontite)!!! The pics don't even come close to doing this gem justice!!!
