Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of analcime from Prospect Park!!! This specimen consists of a sharp, lustrous crystal of analcime perched on a small amount of matrix in association with calcite!!! The analcime crystal has sharp faces, glassy luster, and marked translucence!!! This specimen is in magnificent condition!!! This specimen has an old detailed collection notecard from Fred Parker that indicates it was acquired from Rocky Rankowitz in 1977!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
