Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely incredible example of anatase from Switzerland!!! This specimen hosts a pristine, GEM crystal of golden-orange anatase proudly perched atop the matrix in association with small crystals of adularia and sharp crystals of darkly colored clinochlore!!! This specimen is perhaps one of the most fascinating single crystals I have seen in some time!!! The crystal has incredibly complex faces, with one of them even being slightly concave (not unlike a steel drum!)!!! This crystal is absolutely PRISTINE with no damage whatsoever!!! The faces have brilliantly glassy luster and the crystal has stunning gem clarity!!! The play of light and internal "glow" this crystal has is simply amazing in person!!! This is a killer example of the species indeed!!! At first glance it could even be mistaken for a garnet crystal - however, make no mistake, this is actually an INCREDIBLE anatase crystal!!!
