Description/Interesting Notes:
An absolutely incredible example of anatase from Switzerland!!! This specimen hosts an incredible, gemmy crystal of
golden-orange anatase proudly perched atop the matrix in association with small crystals of adularia and some
darkly colored clinochlore!!! The crystal is a highly complex crystal that is actually twinned as well!!! This is one of the
most intruiging - and aesthetic, examples of anatase that I have ever seen (and one of only two similar examples of this unusual and rare material)!!!
The play of light and internal "glow" this crystal has is simply amazing in person!!! This
is a killer example of the species indeed!!! At first glance it could even be mistaken for a garnet crystal - however, make no
mistake, this is actually an INCREDIBLE anatase crystal!!! The crystal measures an impressive 6.7mm!!! The pics don't even come
close to doing it justice!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS
WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY JULY 29th!!!
