Anatase on Dolomite Rauris valley, Hohe Tauern Mts, Salzburg, Austria 8.3cm x 6.5cm x 1.55cm Ex. Schortmann's

Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific, old time example of anatase from Austria!!! This specimen consists of a cauliflower-like matrix of dolomite crystals that has been selectively dusted with tiny but sharp anatase crystals with a few larger ones perched among them!!! The anatase crystals are sharp and lustrous!!! Curiously, on the underside, there appears to be numerous groups of dark red, altered rutile!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
