Description/Interesting Notes: An amazing, old time example of andradite garnet from Arizona!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of unusually large, interpenetrant crystals of andradite garnet!!! The andradite crystals have sharp, lustrous faces with characteristic olive green-brown color!!! The crystals have complexly stepped faces and range in size up to 5.7cm!!! Crystals of such impressive size are extremely rare at this locale - this is a very significant specimen indeed!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition and displays magnificently in person!!! The interpenetrant crystal faces almost create a star-like design in person!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
