Anglesite Wissen, Siegerland, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany 9.3cm x 7.44cm x 7cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of anglesite from this historic German locale!!! This specimen hosts several deep vugs that host numerous complex crystals of anglesite!!! The anglesite crystals are sharp, undamaged, and measure up to 1cm!!! In addition to the anglesite crystals, a significant portion of the matrix is comprised of altered massive galena, massive golden chalcopyrite, and limonitic gossan!!! Perched in some tiny vugs are also some complex crystals of cerussite and an intensely colored cluster of linarite crystals (under close inspection with a loupe or scope they are amazing - a cluster of free-standing juxtaposed crystals)!!! This is rare, old time material that likely dates to the 19th century!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
