Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of ankerite with stilpnomelane from this historic New York locality!!! This specimen hosts a striking cluster of lustrous, complex crystals of tan colored ankerite crystals in association with velvety balls of dark brown stilpnomelane with tiny blades of shimmering hematite on a layer of tiny quartz points!!! This specimen is in terrific condition and displays fantatically!!! This rare classic retains an old style enamel catalogue number as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
