Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific, old time example of chromian antigorite from Pennsylvania!!! This material is often incorrectly labelled as kammererite from this locality, and given its color and form, it is certainly understandable!!! This specimen hosts well formed, prominent crystals of chromian antigorite in association with black chromite!!! The specimen exhibits a deep purple color with marked luster and slight translucency in areas!!! The pictures show it as being a somewhat magenta-purple color, however in person it is a more of a darker, grape-jelly purple!!! Fantastic old time material!!!
