Native Antimony with Kermesite & Valentinite

Arechuybo, Chihuahua, Mexico

4.16cm x 2.7cm x 2.15cm

Ex. Tony Nikischer Collection No. 139

Description/Interesting Notes:

A rare, old time example of native antimony from Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a dense nodule of native antimony that hosts some tiny areas of kermesite and valentinite!!! The native antimony shows a sparkling network of brilliant, silvery metallic, crystalline cleavage faces!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope one can see some tiny reddish areas of kermesite microcrystals and minute crystals of valentinite as well!!! Rare old time material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer and retains its original personal collection label!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
