Native Antimony

Tom Moore Mine (Erskine Creek), Kern Co., California

1.71" x .86" x .85"

4.33cm x 2.17cm x 2.16cm

Description/Interesting Notes:

A rare example of native antimony from a rare old California locality!!! This specimen consists of a large, rounded mass of antimony with a "rind" of oxidized antimony protecting the brilliant, unaltered antimony within!!! An area has been polished to reveal the rare native species within!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! A very rare find indeed!!! These Califonia antimony specimens are almost impossible to obtain!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY NOVEMBER 27th!!!
