Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of purple apatite from Maine!!! This specimen consists of a quartz crystal and cookeite matrix that hosts a single, striking gem crystal of purple fluorapatite!!! The crystal has razor-sharp, glassy faces, gem clarity, and bright purple color!!! The crystal measures just over 5mm!!! Although the crystal is contacted on the reverse, it is otherwise pristine and displays magnificently!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
