Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of apatite from Portugal!!! This specimen hosts a showy blue green apatite crystal in association with numerous purple fluorite crystals on a matrix of complexly arranged siderite crystals!!! The apatite crystal measures well over 2cm and has a darkly colored core with an outer zone of handsome blue green color!!! The crystal has razor sharp faces, glassly luster, and gemmy clarity!!! There are numerous fluorite crystals scattered about, present as complexly stepped and intergrown cubic crystals that have colorless and violet purple coloration!!! The siderite crystals are arranged in highly complex, tube-like groups of stacked crystals!!! These siderite crystal forms are quite fascinating in person!!! Simply a gorgeous old time combination specimen from this classic locality!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
