Apatite on Sphalerite with Chalcopyrite, Arsenopyrite and Muscovite Panasqueira, Covilhã, Castelo Branco District, Portugal 5.25cm x 3.11cm x 2.12cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of apatite with sphalerite from Portugal!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of sphalerite crystals that serve as matrix for a cluster of light green apatite crystals with single crystals of chalcopyrite and arsenopyrite and small blades of muscovite in association!!! This specimen was obtained in an old collection and, although there is some damage, it is still quite handsome indeed!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
