Apatite with Albite, Cookeite, and Amblygonite Greenwood, Oxford Co., Maine 4.15cm x 2.88cm x 1.73cm Ex. Neil Wintringham Collection

Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of purple apatite from Maine!!! This specimen hosts numerous sharp, gemmy, lavender purple crystals of apatite on a matrix of albite in association with cookeite and amblygonite!!! The apatite crystals are sharp, lustrous, and gemmy and have an attractive, compressed almost disc-like habit!!! The crystals are aesthetically arranged in a loose line of variously angled crystals!!! This specimen retains an old "Minerals Unlimited" label and a Don Schultz label as well!!!
