Description/Interesting Notes:
A magnificent example of apophyllite from Michigan!!! This specimen hosts a cluster of razor-sharp, gem clear, apophyllite crystals
- many of which host minute inclusions of native copper!!! The apophyllite crystals are absolutely pristine - complete and undamaged!!!
The crystals are very gemmy and intensely lustrous!!! Upon close inspection one can see that there are
numerous tiny inclusions of bright native copper included within the apophyllite crystals!!! On one side of the specimen one
can see that the apophyllite crystals are perched upon some very gemmy calcite crystals as well!!!
This specimen was quite difficult to capture in the pics - however it is simply stunning in person!!!
Simply an incredible, old time apophyllite from Michigan!!!

collection of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and
there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!! Prior to the Nikischer
collection this specimen was originally from the collection of Florence Mecke (acquired from the late 1930's until the 1970's)!!!
