Description/Interesting Notes:
A superb example of apophyllite from this classic Pennsylvania locale!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of
large, blocky apophyllite crystals accented by tiny crystals of marcasite and scattered clusters of smaller
apophyllite crystals!!! The apophyllite crystals have zones of included marcasite crystals within them that
imparts an almost bluish gray color and internal sparkle that makes this specimen quite showy in person!!! The
apophyllite crystals have brilliant, glassy prism faces and marked clarity!!! There are
some plate-like crystals of brassy golden marcasite scattered among the apophyllite crystals as well!!!
This specimen is a real killer in person!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition all around and displays
gorgeously in person!!! Old material!!!

collection of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and
there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!! Prior to the Nikischer
collection this specimen was originally from the collection of Florence Mecke (acquired from the late 1930's until the 1970's)!!!
