Description/Interesting Notes: An outstanding example of apophyllite on prehnite from Virginia!!! This specimen consists of numerous sharp, glassy apophyllite crystals aesthetically perched on a plate of lively, rich green prehnite crystals!!! The prehnite is a much more intense green, with a somewhat slightly bluish hue, when compared to majority of New Jersey prehnites!!! The apophyllite crystals are simply magnificent as well!!!
