Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific, old time example of aquamarine from this historic locale!!! This is a group of three similarly sized individual crystals of gemmy aquamarine!!! Of the three specimens, there is one of the crystals is terminated and one has a contacted feature at the termination!!! The crystals were in the collection as a group so I decided it was best to keep them that way!!! The crystals are gemmy and glassy with sharp faces and characteristic aquamarine color!!! Classic, old time material!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!! We recently acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!! Prior to the Nikischer collection this specimen was originally from the collection of Florence Mecke (acquired from the late 1930's until the 1970's)!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
