Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of aragonite from this historic locality!!! This specimen consists of a group of highly . complex aragonite crystals!!! The crystals have lustrous, complexly etched prism faces and marked translucence!!! The crystals are complete and undamaged!!! When viewed down the c-axis, one can see that the crystals look almost like snow-flakes or complexly twinned cerussite crystals!!! This complex form continues down the length of the crystals and you can see the resulting complex features on the prism faces!!! This specimen is simply incredible to examine in person!!! This specimen retains a very old label (we are still researching it, if and when we have additional info I will post it) as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
