Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of this rare silver-bearing species from the Czech Republic!!! This specimen consists of a very rich showing of argentopyrite in association with deep red proustite!!! The argentopyrite is present both as massive and crystalline material!!! The complex, vuggy matrix is comprised of massive argentopyrite that, upon close inspection with a loupe or scope, is studded with tiny, complex crystals of argentopyrite!!! There are also some prismatic crystals of proustite scattered about the specimen as well!!! A significant portion of the specimen is comprised of somewhat massive proustite as well!!!
