A very rare, old time example of argyrodite from Germany!!! Argyrodite is a very rare silver bearing species comprised of silver and
germanium!!! This specimen is comprised almost entirely of argyrodite with just a small amount of
pyrite matrix!!!
crystals are present as near-botryoidal groups, however upon close inspection with a loupe or a scope one can see that they are actually
quite well crystallized with sharp crystal faces!!! These specimens date to the late 1800's!!! This specimen is from the
A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum!!!
