A very rare, old time example of argyrodite from Germany!!! Argyrodite is a very rare silver bearing species
comprised of silver and germanium!!! This specimen is comprised largely of argyrodite in association with
some pyrite!!! The crystals are present as near-botryoidal groups, however upon close inspection one can see that there
are some prominent, well formed cubic crystals jutting out from the botryoidal clusters!!! These cubic crystals are
fantastic examples of the species for the locality!!! These
specimens date to the late 1800's!!! This specimen is from the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
