Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of this very rare silver germanium sulphide from the type locality in Germany!!! These historic argyrodite specimens from Himmelsfurst date to latter half of the 1800's and are extremely rare today!!! This specimen consists of somewhat botryoidal group of intergrown argyrodite crystals!!! Although it is difficult to discern from the pics, upon close inspection with a loupe or scope, one can find sharply formed crystalline features and crystal faces scattered about the rounded subhedral forms!!! These old time argyrodite specimens are extremely scarce and highly sought after!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
