Arsenopyrite with Cassiterite, Apatite, and Calcite Panasqueira, Covilhã, Castelo Branco District, Portugal 10.92cm x 8.05cm x 3.12cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A stunning, classic example of arsenopyrite with cassiterite & apatite from Portugal!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of large, showy, silver, complex crystals of arsenopyrite with a single sharply twinned cassiterite crystal perched on top - like a cassiterite cherry atop an arsenopyrite sundae!!! The reverse of the specimen is coated with tiny calcite crystals that cover all but one of the apatite crystals present!!! This specien is AMAZING in person - a killer example of arsenopyrite indeed!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! STAY TUNED!!!
