Description/Interesting Notes: An incredible, old time example of gem augelite with lazulite from California!!! This specimen consists of a sharp single crystal of gem augelite that hosts a lively blue crystal of gem lazulite included within!!! These Champion Mine augelite specimens are quite scarce indeed!!! The crystal has sharp, glassy faces and gemmy clarity!!! Upon close inspection, the bottom of the crystal is actually finely crystallized as well - being comprised of complexly etched features!!! The lazulite crystal included within has lively blue color, gemmy clarity, and exhibits a highly complex form!!! This amazing specimen retains an old label that was handwritten by famed mineralogist Fred Pough as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
