Description/Interesting Notes: A rare example of aurorite with silver-rich todorokite from the type locality in Nevada!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of aurorite and argentian todorokite, along with other complex manganese oxides, included in calcite!!! All of the darkly colored material is calcite that is very richly included with these rare species!!! This is the characteristic presentation of this unusual silver-ore from the type locality!!! This specimen retains several previous labels including a very detailed old label that notes that the specimen was collected by R. M. Phillips Sept. 12, 1969!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
