Description/Interesting Notes: An amazing example of torbernite with epitaxial autunite from Portugal!!! This specimen has absolutely electric, intense fluorescent yellow green color!!! This specmimen is loaded with sharp, bladed crystals that range in size up to 4.5mm!!! This specimen owes its unique color to the fact that the crystals are actually two-different colors!!! The crystals consist of green, square-shaped torbernite crystals that have broad outer zones of intense yellow autunite!!! These are actually torbernite crystals that have subsequently been overgrown with epitaxial autunite!!! Upon close inspection the crystals are absolutely amazing - sharp, modified, square-shaped blades with translucent clarity and sharply defined zones of intense yellow and green color!!!
