Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of axinite with grossular from this uniquely-named Washington locality - the Teenage Crush Claim!!! This speicmen consists of a cluster of lustrous reddish brown grossular garnets that host a pristine, 1cm axinite crystal!!! The axinite crystal is razor-sharp, glassy, and gemmy with a characteristic champagne color!!! There are a number of tiny grossular garnet crystals perched on the axinite as well!!! This specimen retains an old Howard Belsky label as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
