Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of axinite from Dalnegorsk!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of acutely angled, complex crystals of axinite!!! The crystals from this locality are quite characteristic - exhibiting a peculiar, spikey appearance!!! The crystals are highly lustrous, with deep sherry-amber color, and lively dispersion and play of light!!! This specimen was quite difficult to capture in the pictures, however it is quite striking in person!!! The specimen displays terrifically in person!!!
